Managed IT Services in Dubai

OptiFi provides managed IT support and AMC for businesses, schools and clinics across Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and Abu Dhabi. The model is preventive rather than break-fix, and the contract states acknowledge, attend and resolve times separately — because conflating them is how AMCs disappoint. Your documentation and credentials stay yours throughout.

What the response time actually means

Every AMC in the Emirates quotes response times, and the number on its own says very little. Response to acknowledge is not response to attend, and neither is resolution.

Our agreements state the three separately, and they state the working week honestly. The UAE runs Monday to Friday with Friday afternoon a genuine consideration for many businesses, and a contract that quietly assumes a Sunday-to-Thursday week or an Indian holiday calendar will disappoint at exactly the wrong moment.

Acknowledge, attend, resolve

Three separate commitments, because conflating them is how AMCs disappoint.

Coverage hours

The actual working week, with out-of-hours terms stated rather than implied.

On-site response

Which emirates, within what time, and what the travel adds.

Escalation

Who to call when the first line has not resolved it, named before you need them.

Preventive work is the part that earns its fee

A support contract that only responds to tickets is a contract with an incentive problem: the more that breaks, the more it appears to deliver. The value is in the tickets that never happen.

That means patching on a schedule, monitoring that raises a disk filling up before it fills, backups verified by restore, and hardware replaced on a plan rather than on failure. Dust and heat are real factors in the Emirates — equipment in a poorly cooled server room ages faster than its warranty assumes, and pretending otherwise is how a Thursday becomes memorable.

Patching on a schedule

Operating systems, firmware and applications updated on a cycle, with a record of what was applied when.

Monitoring with thresholds

Alerts on disks filling, backups failing and services stopping, raised before anyone notices a symptom.

Environmental checks

Cooling and airflow in the server room, which in the Emirates shortens equipment life faster than most owners expect.

Replacement planning

Hardware retired on a plan with budget attached, rather than replaced urgently at whatever price is available.

Documentation, and what happens if you leave

A provider who holds your passwords, your domain registrar login and the only knowledge of how your network is put together has made themselves difficult to replace. Some rely on it.

We document as we go and the documentation is yours: an asset register, network diagram, licence inventory and credential list held where you can reach it without asking us. If you leave, you leave with everything, and the handover is a task rather than an argument.

This is not generosity. A client who stays because leaving is painful is a client who has stopped choosing us, and that arrangement degrades the service on both sides.

Asset register

What you own, where it is, when the warranty ends.

Network documentation

Diagrams and configuration kept current, not drawn once at handover.

Licence inventory

What is licensed, to whom, renewing when.

Credentials

Held in a system you own, so a provider change is administrative.

Sized to what you have

A twelve-person office in Business Bay and a forty-person operation across three emirates need different contracts, and the second should not be sold the first with a larger number attached.

We scope on device count, sites, systems in use and how much downtime actually costs you per hour — because that last figure decides how much prevention is worth buying, and it is the one almost nobody has calculated.

Common questions

While there is a monthly fee, most businesses find that our managed service plan is more cost-effective in the long run. When you factor in the cost of downtime, lost productivity, and expensive emergency repairs, proactive management is a much smarter financial decision.
