CCTV Systems for Abu Dhabi Premises
Part of CCTV Installation in Dubai
Abu Dhabi security requirements are set by the emirate's own authorities rather than by Dubai's, and they vary by premises type. A system priced on cameras and a recorder without establishing that first may not be an approvable system, which is an expensive thing to learn after installation.
Establish the requirement before pricing the system
Security systems are regulated across the UAE, and the arrangements are not uniform between emirates. Abu Dhabi premises are dealt with through the relevant local authority, and what applies to a Mussafah industrial facility, a KIZAD warehouse and a retail premises are not the same.
Requirements also change over time. We establish what applies to your Abu Dhabi premises category before quoting, and where something needs confirming with the authority we say so rather than asserting it from memory — a confident wrong answer here costs more than an honest uncertain one.
Retention drives storage and storage drives cost, which is where Abu Dhabi quotes diverge invisibly. Two proposals for the same facility can differ by half purely because one keeps footage for a fraction as long.
Premises category first
What your type of Abu Dhabi premises is required to have, established before design.
Retention sized honestly
Storage built for the days of footage required rather than the days that fit a budget.
Arithmetic shown
The capacity calculation given to you, so competing Abu Dhabi quotes compare.
Documented handover
The records an inspection asks for, provided rather than reconstructed.
Placement, and Abu Dhabi conditions
A well-placed ordinary camera beats an excellent one aimed wrongly. The failures recur: a camera facing a Mussafah roller shutter at midday recording a silhouette, a KIZAD yard covered at an angle where plates cannot be read, an entrance framed so movement shows but nobody is identifiable.
Conditions shorten the gap between day one and month twelve. Direct sun on unshaded housings across Abu Dhabi's industrial areas, and dust through the UAE summer, both degrade what a camera delivers — so housings and cleaning intervals are specified for here rather than taken from a European datasheet.
How a CCTV project runs with us in Abu Dhabi
We survey, design, specify and inspect. You receive a documented design and a tenderable bill of materials, and we verify the installed result camera by camera — reviewing what each actually shows rather than confirming it powers on.
Installation is carried out by a contractor. We keep no installation crew in Abu Dhabi or anywhere in the UAE, and where you want one local company to install and then maintain a system for years, an Abu Dhabi security installer is the better answer, which we say early.
Attended survey
Camera positions marked against what you need to be able to prove.
Tenderable design
A specification you own rather than a proprietary quote.
Image verified
Each installed camera checked for what it shows, not that it is live.
Honest boundaries
We design and inspect; an Abu Dhabi contractor installs and maintains.
